This 100% cotton, 230 thread count percale mattress protector provides a barrier against dust mites and their allergens. With fine dust mite allergens averaging around 10 microns in size, our protector's lab tested pore size of 4.99 microns will keep out these particles and the mites that produce them. As medically recommended, the encasement-style mattress protector's zipper has a special interior fabric flap to provide additional protection.
